The Team
The Family Behind the Experience
From ownership to housekeepers, guides to volunteers, every member of the Cheemo team is hand-picked to fit our culture. We look first for character — positive attitudes, genuine hospitality, and a deep respect for the outdoors.
Our team is built around one simple goal: making sure your trip is surrounded not just by staff, but by familiar faces, good conversations, and plenty of smiles.

Zac Jeaurond
After working at multiple lodges, completing a relevant education, and gaining years of hands-on management experience, Zac spent more than five years searching for the right lodge to call home. Cheemo Lodge is where that search ended.
On any given day, Zac can be found wherever he’s needed — maintenance, logistics, guide management, guest hosting, and if he’s lucky, some time on the water and a game of cards at the end of the night.

Bre Jeaurond
Bre is the heartbeat of the lodge. She can usually be found baking, cooking up something memorable in the kitchen, making beds, or keeping the guest rooms dialed in.
On a good day, she’s out catching dinner, spending time with the kids, and rolling the dice after supper. Comfort, warmth, and attention to detail all start with Bre.
Lili & JP
The next generation of Cheemo.
Lili-ane and Jean-Pierre are the up-and-coming guide and housekeeper — we’ll let you decide who’s who. During their apprenticeship, they can be found setting tables, picking flowers, lending a hand wherever needed, and casting a line whenever they get the chance.
Guy & Ruby Jeaurond
Parents to Zac and pillars of Cheemo Lodge, Guy and Ruby play a pivotal role in the lodge’s success. With extensive experience in business and hospitality, they bring both wisdom and work ethic to everything they do.
From 100-mile snowmobile trips into the lodge during winter, to cabin renovations, guest support, and offering valuable advice behind the scenes — no task is too big or too small.

Yvon Jeaurond
With a strong background in transportation, logistics, and mechanics, Yvon brings essential expertise to lodge operations. From keeping camp motors running smoothly to offering critical logistical insight, his skillset is relied on daily.
Whether it’s turning wrenches or jumping in to help with a pile of dishes, Yvon is always ready to lend a hand.
